Small on purpose.

Gavista is five glamping domes, standing quietly on a hillside between the trees and the sky. There's a dining room, a fire pit, and the sort of silence you don't get in cities.

We keep it to five domes so the property never feels full. The air is thin enough to notice. On a clear night, you'll see more stars than you're used to.

The dome

One dome, five times over.

Every dome is the same by design — the view is what changes. A king bed, a small wood stove, and a deck that opens onto the hillside.

Three meals,
in one room.

All meals happen in the dining room — a converted stone barn at the top of the property. Breakfast is unhurried. Dinner is one set menu per night, cooked from what's in season and what the neighbouring farms have given us.

Dietary needs go in the enquiry form. We build the week's menu around what the room can eat together.

Fireside

The fire pit is lit at seven.

Between dinner and bed, there's a fire. Blankets are stacked by the door of the dining room; guests take one and come out.

You can stay for an hour or for the whole evening. The stars are best between nine and midnight.
